- 2 lbs roast, chunked (venison or elk)
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 carrots, chunked
- 4 celery stalks, quartered
- 1/4 cup tapioca pearls or other thickener
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, quartered
- 1 tsp mineral salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 (16 oz) can tomatoes
- 3/4 cup red wine
Preheat 300 degrees. Combine ingredients in dutch oven. Bake for 4 hours.
